Academy Registration
Registrants must complete all four (4) registration steps. Incomplete registrations may be delayed or denied.
1. Application & Fees
Application forms may be mailed or emailed to TPCC. Download Application Form (MS Word). The cost of the Acacemy is $375.
2. Background Check*
Background checks may be accomplished at any police department. (Costs incurred are the responsibility of the registrant.)
3. Practical Experience Journal*
Registrants must complete twelve (12) hours of direct contact prior to attending the Academy. Download Practical Experience Journal (MS Word)
4. Self-Appraisal Form
Self-appraisal data is used by Academy staff to customize training class. Download the Self-Appraisal Form (MS Word)
* Commissioned law enforcement officers and fire fighters need only to provide a written statement from thier department or a copy of their commission card. |
