Class Information

Police Fire Chaplain Classes

The program provides 44 hours of classroom training, 12 hours of direct contact experience and 3 hours of seminar training. Training is proviced at the Washington Criminal Justice Training Commission in Burien, Washington. To date, we have trained 300 chaplains.

Students should deal directly with the SeaTac Comfor Inn & Suites. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from SeaTac airport and the Academy site if requested. It is suggested that in addition to requesting that service at the time of registration, a follow-up phone call the day prior to arrival.

ICPC & FCC Certification

The Police and Fire Chaplain’s Training Academy  is pleased to cooperate with the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC) and the Federation of Fire Chaplains (FFC) in offering a blending of classes that meets the standards of these organizations, qualifying our graduates to apply for the Basic Credential from either organization.
